Sons of Funk , formerly known as Sons of Funk Nirvana is an American R&B group from Richmond , California , is now based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Sons of Funk that were formally artists on No Limit Record s . They had great success in the late 1990’s and are best known for their hit singles "Push in Inside You" & "I Got the Hook Up!" . On April 21, 1998 Sons of Funk would release their debut album The Game of Funk on No Limit Records and Priority Records . Pushing inside sold 1.2 million copies and made it to #3 on the Billboard Hot. They followed it with another smash hit I Got the Hook Up which peaked at #1 on Billboard Hot R&B.
