"Sons Of Funk" is a musical group containing three great singers and have been around for many years. Sons of Funk , formerly known as Sons of Funk Nirvana is an American R&B group from Richmond, California, is now based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Sons of Funk that were formally artists on No Limit Records. They had great success in the late 1990’s and are best known for their hit singles "Pushin Inside You" & "I Got the Hook Up!". On April 21, 1998 Sons of Funk would release their debut album The Game of Funk on No Limit Records and Priority Records.
Pushing inside sold 1.2 million copies and made it to #3 on the Billboard Hot. They followed it with another smash hit I Got the Hook Up which peaked at #1 on Billboard Hot R&B. The group also produced songs on Master P’s Ghetto Dope Album and Silk the Shocker Made Man. Sons of Funk toured the Continental United States in 1998.
Sons of Funk recently performed at Essence Music Fest in New Orleans. Sons of Funk is blazing the trail and dropped a new release Consistent, Marry that Girl and Should’ve Been In Love. Now in 2019, they are back on tour with No Limit Records and doing great!

On April 21, 1998 Sons of Funk would release their debut album The Game of Funk on No Limit Records & Priority Records. The album would chart at #44 on the Billboard 200. In late 1999 the group would retire from the music industry due to unknown reasons.
2019-2020: Stupid
In 2020 the group, on March 3, 2020 they would release their new hit single together entitled Stupid (feat. Forever Hood) via. S.O.F. Music LLC, Sons of Funk Nirvana
2020: Happy Again
In 2020 the group, on April 20, 2020 they would release their new single together entitled Happy Again via. S.O.F. Music LLC, Sons of Funk Nirvana
